The HEAD Radical Pro 2026 is the control flagship of the Radical range. Teardrop shape, 3K carbon face, Eva Soft core, Auxetic 2.0 frame technology, 365-375g. It is the heaviest specification in the 2026 Radical lineup and the model that prioritises power within the control-first Radical philosophy.
3K carbon uses a 3,000-filament carbon weave - softer and more feel-precise than the 12K carbon used in the Coello and Extreme One X. It is still definitively carbon: the contact feel is crisp and connected, exit speed on centred shots is genuinely above what fiberglass delivers, and ball placement from carbon feedback is more intentional than from softer face materials. On touch shots, drops, and placement-driven drives, the 3K face communicates clearly where the ball went and why.
The Auxetic 2.0 frame geometry expands laterally on impact, generating power amplification beyond what the face material alone provides. This is what distinguishes the 2026 Pro from the 2024 Pro - the previous generation did not have Auxetic 2.0, and the difference is meaningful on baseline shots where the frame's flex adds pace beyond the player's swing contribution.
At 365-375g the Radical Pro is among the heavier teardrops in the HEAD range. This weight adds baseline authority - more mass behind each drive - at the cost of some net-play speed versus the lighter Motion. For players who split their game between positions, the Pro's weight profile favours baseline play more than net play.
Players who want control and precision with genuine carbon character should consider the Radical Pro 2026 alongside the Speed Motion 2025. The Radical Pro is heavier and more power-oriented; the Speed Motion is lighter and faster. Advanced players who also want fiberglass arm safety should look at the Speed Team instead.
