Verdict

The Bullpadel Hack 04 HYB 2026 takes the TriCarbon 18K face and MultiEVA core of the 2026 Hack 04 diamond and delivers them in a teardrop (hybrid) shape. It is not a softened version of the flagship - it is a different specification built for a different type of player.

The teardrop shape places the sweet spot in the upper-centre of the face rather than the top third of a diamond. The balance sits at medium-high rather than the full high balance of the diamond version. This means the HYB is faster to swing and easier to redirect at net while still carrying the TriCarbon 18K face that gives the Hack line its crisp, direct contact character.

The 2026 construction updates to the Total Channel aerodynamic system and TriCore triple-bridge provide the same frame stability improvements found on the diamond version. Air React Channel runs through the core. Custom Weight plates allow balance personalisation from the standard setup.

The TriCarbon 18K face is demanding - it requires consistent centred technique and is not arm-friendly in the way Multiglass is. Off-centre contacts transmit more shock than on the diamond version because the balance is lower, but the arm load is still significantly higher than any multiglass or Fibrix construction. Ease Vibe dampeners in the frame holes provide some mitigation.

At EUR 287.95 it sits at premium pricing for a hybrid teardrop, justified by the pro-line TriCarbon construction shared with the flagship diamond. Players choosing between the diamond Hack 04 and the HYB should consider their court coverage honestly: baseline-dominant attackers who finish points with smashes should choose the diamond. All-court players who need to perform at net as well as baseline will find the HYB the more complete tool.

Strengths

  • Teardrop shape delivers all-court versatility the diamond Hack 04 cannot match
